Raw Plantain Curry

🌱 Raw Plantain Curry Recipe 🌿


4 raw plantains, peeled and diced

2 tbsp oil

1 tsp mustard seeds

2 tbsp urad dal (split black gram lentils)

1 tsp asafoetida (optional, omit for gluten-free)

2 tsp turmeric powder

Chili powder to taste

Salt to taste


Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add 1 tsp mustard seeds and 2 tbsp urad dal. When it sizzles, add 1 tsp asafoetida (optional).

Toss in 4 diced raw plantains. Stir-fry until golden brown.

Add 2 tsp turmeric, chili powder to taste, and salt. Mix well.

Cook until the plantains are tender and golden.
